Restructuring

Restructuring is reorganising and appointing staff to do jobs in new structures.

The organisational change policy and procedure (MS Word, 110KB) contains information on entitlements, notice periods and redeployment. It has been designed to:

  • place the right people with the right skills in the right jobs
  • treat staff fairly
  • comply with employment legislation
  • provide a consistent approach to ring fenced jobs and redeployment
  • protect existing employees
  • avoid unnecessarily terminating employees and incurring termination costs.
