  • Acceptable Behaviour and Language Including Unconscious Bias: this course explains how we can overcome our unconscious biases to improve decision making and professional relationships, and to create more open, inclusive and effective organisations.
  • Supporting Carers in the Workplace: for all staff, to raise awareness and highlight what support is available for those with caring responsibilities. 
  • Equality Act 2010: an overview of the Equality Act 2010 and the public sector equality duty.
  • Mental Health Awareness: to raise your awareness of mental health issues, common problems, causes, stigma, discrimination and access to help and support.
  • Mental Health First Aid England Accredited: this training course will consider how you can help reduce the stigma around the topic, flag issues before they become problems and to help you have productive, legal and positive conversation with those who are signed off work with stress or mental health related issues. This course is aimed at those who want to become a mental health first aider.
  • Transgender training: an introduction to Transgender looking at the correct definitions, law and policy and dos and don'ts.  
  • Unconscious Bias: this 20-minute Foundation Skills module will help you get to grips with unconscious bias so that you can identify, acknowledge and challenge it in your workplace.
  • Sunflower training videos: watch four short videos to learn about the Sunflower campaign in helping no visible disabilities be recognised and supported by wearing the sunflower.
  • Neurodiversity in the Workplace: the Differently Abled group has co-produced this learning package. Our aim is to raise awareness on neurodiversity in the workplace and help promote inclusion at Cheshire East Council.

  • Zero Suicide Prevention: the aims of this training are to: enable people to identify when someone is presenting with suicidal thoughts/behaviour, to be able to speak out in a supportive manner, and to empower them to signpost the individual to the correct services or support.
