Domestic abuse is a form of discrimination and harassment which could negatively affect staff and their families. Everyone has a right to live free from fear and abuse and the Council is committed to minimising the risk to individuals and families and to promoting recovery for all.
Any form of domestic abuse is unacceptable and the council recognises it is a serious safeguarding issue for both adults and children.

Staff can access support from our Domestic Abuse Hub on 0300 123 5101. Mental Health First Aiders are also trained to offer support as Domestic Abuse Champions.
