Digital and electronic signatures
DocuSign allows staff to sign and send documents electronically.
Cheshire East staff can now use DocuSign.
This should be used where you need to send a document for signature which needs to be legally admissible (external and/or internal)
If you have a requirement to sign documents that have been sent to you
There is no requirement to have a DocuSign account if you are sent a document to sign. Just follow the link in the e-mail and it will guide you through the fields you need to complete
If you have a requirement to send documents to be signed
You will need a DocuSign account to send documents to other CEC Officers or external parties for signature/completion

Requesting Access
- Raise a helpdesk ticket (under ‘I can’t find a catalogue Item’)
- it normally takes a day or two to set up
