Access personnel records

All employees have the right to access information held on their personnel records, subject to a written request.

We will grant staff access to their personnel records as soon as possible and, in any event, within one month of receipt of the request. If the request is particularly complex, the Council can apply a further two month extension to the time limit of the request. This is in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
