Information Governance
Information Governance is the way in which we handle our information, especially personal and sensitive information relating to people, including members of staff.
It provides a framework to ensure that information is dealt with securely, legally, efficiently, and effectively to minimise information breaches and support our compliance with relevant legislation. Having access to reliable records, reports and data enables managers to make key business decisions with confidence.
Reports for information breaches
The Information Governance Group (IGG) have produced a series of reports (using MS Power BI) on data incidents reported within the Council. You can access the reports online (open using the MS Edge browser). The reports show incidents by Directorate and Service as well as details such as type of incidents, scores, how they occurred, outcomes, locations etc.
