Transformation and Improvement Service

The Transformation and Improvement Service sits within the office of the Chief Executive. It provides:

  • dedicated project management and project support to a range of key initiatives, including the council's Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) and transformation programme
  • programme management on a number of key council priorities, including Adults and Children’s transformation and the Handforth Garden Village development
  • advice training and guidance on project management and business case development
  • tools and standardised practical approach to managing and delivering projects
  • best practice and templates
  • business process improvement resources and skills
