Occupational Health team
The role of Occupational Health is to assess the impact of ‘health on work’ and ‘work on health’ and to help maintain the health of the workforce.
Through our contract with Optima we are able to provide a whole host of services, many of which you may not even be aware of:

- Independent Pension Signatory
- Lung Function - Spirometry HS
- Management Referral OHA F2F
- Musculoskeletal Management Referral
- Management Referral F2F OHA 90
- Management Referral OHP F2F
- Tele-consultation (OHA)
- Tele-consultation OHP
- Wellbeing Counselling
Optima will provide the referring manager with a case report once a management referral is complete. In this report there may be recommended additional services, but, these services are chargeable.
If the referring manager would like these services to be utilised, they must email OHUCommunications@cheshireeast.gov.uk to confirm they will meet the cost from their service budget.
Charges will be journaled from service budgets.
